Saturday, April 20th will be the date where Benson “Smooth” Henderson defends his UFC Lightweight Championship against Gilbert “El Nino” Melendez. For Melendez, it will be his first fight in the UFC, going 21-2 in his MMA career. Henderson has an impressive 18-2 record for himself. The UFC on FOX 7 Main Fight Card will also feature:
- Heavyweight – Daniel Cormier (11-0) vs. Frank Mir (16-6)
- Lightweight – Nate Diaz (16-8) vs. Josh Thomson (19-5)
- Welterweight – Jordan Mein (27-8) vs. Matt Brown (16-11)
UFC fighters Martin Kampmann and Mike Pyle will be hosting the event at the Sapphire Pool and Day Club, and UFC executive David White will be giving out UFC swag and two tickets to UFC 160 in May!
