Super DJ Jay Dee is a “True School” DJ. He is a 20+ year veteran who DJ’d his first nightclub in New York City in 1989 at 17 years old. Since then Jay Dee has built a resume that could take hours to talk about. Jay Dee has rocked over 1.000 nightclubs all over the country. His main claim to fame was in 2001 when he held 4 huge residencies a week in New York City (Spa, Cheetah, Limelight & Exit) which earned him the title NYC Nightclub DJ of the Year by Interview Magazine. He has played with an endless amount of Hip Hop stars, doing parties with Jay Z, Missy Elliott, Fabolous, and T-Pain to name a few. He was a featured DJ on the legendary “Basement” radio show in NYC from 1996-1999. The show helped boost underground artists such as Common, Eminem & Mos Def, gain commercial exposure by having them do live freestyles on the air. Since 2003, Jay Dee has made a solid name for himself in the state of Florida. He has rocked stages in Orlando, Miami, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Gainesville,Tampa, Ft Lauderdale and many more..Jay Dee is currently known as being one of the top open format DJ’s in the state of Florida, and has recently played in Chicago, New York, Tennessee, and San Francisco in the past year. Jay Dee is sure thing when in your DJ booth. He controls a room at will, and his talent and musical vision takes a dance floor on a ride to places most of todays DJ’s will never know about!!!
